Salon Nordine and Spa needed a sophisticated biophilic design that would enhance the spa experience while reflecting the salon’s commitment to luxury and wellness. The challenge was integrating preserved moss installations, live plants, and replica elements throughout treatment areas and reception spaces.

Interior Plantscapes designed a comprehensive solution featuring custom preserved moss walls, preserved moss mirrors, and coordinated plantings. The reception desk features 16 canvas preserved moss walls (each 3.5 feet wide by 4.5 feet high) integrated into the wood slatted wall, creating over 250 square feet of preserved moss. The nail and pedicure area showcases two parallel canvas moss walls (each 5 feet high by 4 feet wide) with four 42-inch hanging wall sconces featuring Pothos Marble Queen.

Throughout the hallway, we fabricated three custom preserved moss and foliage mirrors (70 inches by 31 inches each) serving as functional elements and botanical art. Live plant installations include a statement Strelitzia White Bird in a designer hourglass planter with Calathea Lancifolia, Pothos Marble Queen, and Pothos Njoy underplanting. All preserved moss installations include biannual maintenance.
